I’ve followed this article word for word but I still can’t get it to go away on either Safari or Chrome. I made sure there were no extensions in the safari prefrences, I couldn’t find any launch agents and I ran a malware bytes scan and whilst that did get rid of some things that appeared to be associated with the download that search.shroomcourt.com came from it still pops up whenever I open safari. I ran a Ccleaner scan after the malware bytes scan just to get rid of anything else. For the mean time I’ve uninstalled Chrome and have turned all wifi off.

If you have any other suggestions or have any recommendations please let me know.

Try using Bitdefender Scanner… I got infected with Shroom as well. I used MBAM but it cleared only some of it. After I used Bitdefender and it removed the remaining files. Hope it works for you too.
