W32.Xpaj.B is a harmful virus that will infect .DLL, .EXE, .SCR and .SYS files on the victims computer. W32.Xpaj.B also create a copy of itself on removable media drives and run itself with an Autorun.Inf file.

What are the Symptoms of this Virus Infection?
Once executed, it will searche the infected computer for files with the following extensions and infects them:
- .dll
- .exe
- .scr
- .sys
The threat will drop the following malicious files:
- %Windir%\[FOUR RANDOM NUMBERS FOLLOWED BY FOUR RANDOM LETTERS].tmp
- %Temp%\[HEXADECIMAL CHARACTERS].tmp
How to Remove W32.Xpaj.B Manually
1. Restart your computer in SafeMode
- After Power-On the computer, just before Windows start, press F8
- From the selections, Select SafeMode
2. Delete malicious files that the threat added:
- Base on the given location above, browse and delete the file
- If no location is given, click Start>Search> and search for the file.
- If cannot be deleted, press Ctrl+Alt+Del to access Task Manager, see if the file is running in the process. If it is, select the file and click End Process. Perform file delete again.
3. Scan computer with Antivirus Program
- Update antivirus program
- Scan computer and delete all detected threats.
