7. On the same page, go to Appearance section. Check the settings on New Tab page, click Change to display the default home page address. Then, click OK to save the setting.

    thought i’d let you know. ive found a few of these posts that tells us how to get rid of it. with some people it doesn’t work. i got rid of the hijack by following these instructions AND deleting a folder marked ‘Default tab’ in the program files on the c drive.
